Partially Reduced Ni-NiO-TiO2 Photocatalysts for Hydrogen Production from Methanol–Water Solution

چکیده

The study compares the photocatalytic behavior of TiO2, NiO-TiO2, and Ni-NiO-TiO2 photocatalysts in hydrogen production from methanol–water solution. TiO2 NiO-TiO2 with theoretical NiO loading 0.5, 1.0, 3.0 wt. % were prepared by sol–gel method. partial reduction at 450 °C. showed significantly higher than photocatalysts. structural, textural, redox, optical properties all studied using XRD, SEM, N2- adsorption, XPS, H2-TPR, DRS. Attention is focused on contribution Ni loading, surface composition (Ni2+, lattice O2− species, OH groups), distribution species (dispersed crystalline phase, metallic Ni0 species), oxygen vacancies, modification, crystallite size, specific area.
